Cleaning inside of boiler

I just bought my first steam engine (a Mamod se2a), and I want to clean it up a bit...
How do I clean it inside the boiler?
Mamod Collector

I suppose the easiest way would be to use some descaler  Very Happy

Welcome Hans, does the boiler need to be clean?

Vinegar can soften deposits if necessary. Very Happy

Hans, fill the boiler half full with normal vinegar, shake it about (with safety valve and overflow plug in!). Let it soak for a few hours, then empty the contents. Do you have any images of the engine?
Hans

OK thx Very Happy
