Boy Scouts Celebrate CentennialSince I started discussing steam online, I sometimes find myself pleasantlysurprised to learn of a Brittish connection or root in something I formerly thought was founded by an American. I was a member for a year or two. It was more about activities like camping,
tying knots, target shooting, kite flying, and identifying poison ivy etc. We had Den Mothers leading us, so the coersion factor was very low. Our only fear of them was that they might withhold the homemade brownies and cookies they made for us if we didn't behave!
