Bowman 202

The big Bowman 101s in steam....

Inspired by Mike's vid, it was about time the 101s had a steaming. Here I show the M101 and E101 in steam together (videos will follow). Both engines performed superbly, the M series engine steaming for 45 minutes on a partially full tank and the E series steaming for 1 hour, again with an underfilled meths lamp.

Here are some images from the mornings steaming. hope you like them, we need to see a few more of these doing what they are MEANT to be doing! Enjoy. Very Happy

Underway...
The M series was the first off the blocks, the E always seems to take longer...

Franco

Great pics Mike, especially the close-ups. Those engines seem very well put together....I've noticed they also command quite a high price- no doubt a reflection of the quality! Very Happy .

I had hoped that the unpleasantness that exists in some areas of the steam toy hobby in this country would die down.  However, it seems that there are a small number of people who will take any opportunity to try and have a dig at others.

All this ongoing nastiness, like snidey comments on u-tube, personal digs at people on websites and the like is really begining to get on my nerves.  So much so that I am seriously considering packing the hobby in and becoming more involved in my other interests.

It doesnt just happen on the Steam Forums i have seen forums with much worse remarks.

If you ignore them they stop in the end.
Franco

These people are really sad non-entities who hide behind their PCs and snipe, as Joiner said ignore them!
Spokesmann

I try to Franco, but somedays like John said you just wonder why you post anything or upload anything...

Anyway on with steam! Wink
