H,although more of a Mac man, I sure your email package has d block on attachments, check under tools/preferences . . .

I have checked out my 'setting' Mike and I can't see why OE is only blocking jpegs (photos) other attachments like word docs etc come through OK .

Open outlook express, click the tools menu, then click options
Now click the security tab, and untick the button shown in my screenshot

outlook expressDo not forget that Outlook is blocking pictures, so that if you get any spam emails, it does not confirm your email address by downloading any pictures in the email.

Thanks for that but it was p*ssing me off not being able to see photot people have sent to me attached to a email and having to go to web mail to see them ! Would have thought Microsoft/outlook would have arranged it so that one could make a choice.
