Another one for the Jedi (Minor 1 flywheel)Just a quick question.
What do you more experienced guys use when a push fit flywheel spins looseley on its shaft. Would PTFE make an effect repair or are there any other suggestions ?
Thanks in advance.

You cant beat Loctite 638, it is used to hold gears onto shafting

Why not drill and tap the hub. That way when it needs to come off again it will be simplicity itself

I've tried both!
Ordinary superglue works well (keep it in the fridge and it lasts indefinately - which is just as well seeing how one tends to use so little!!). Personally, I reckon the specialists, like Loctite, have as much bullshit on the outside of the packaging as there is glue on the inside. They must have 1001 ways of saying 'cynoacrylate'!
Drilling, tapping an fitting a grubscrew's fine if you've got all the kit, but after all if it's just one flywheel, you've got to ask if it's worth all the bother.
As far as releasing the flywheel in the future, a really firm, sharp twist, suprisingly, will usually do it!
