Amberley Saturday/Sunday 20/21st September 2008Freesteam will be attending Amberley on Sunday 21st September (the day after Kempton day one). I shall be there with a good assortment of engines, so come up and say hello and chew the fat if you can.
Many thanks to Simon (MTA) for his help and advice in arranging the forum and the other forum's tables and spaces.
A full report and images will to uploaded during Monday. I have quite a bit of driving to do but should be worth it, Im staying in London overnight so I wont be on the forum for a few days . . .
Now back to my Google maps . . .

Cheers Mike.
For a bit more info on the museum itself:
The museum opens to the public at 10am, with last entry at 4:30pm and the museum closes at 5:30pm.
If you pay to get in, your entrance ticket is valid for another 5 days as Amberley is so big (36 acres) you are bound to miss something.
The HNGRT Bagnall 0-4-0ST 'Wendy' will be hauling trains on Saturday and our Bagnall 2-4-0T 'Polar Bear' will be hauling trains on the Sunday if all goes to plan.
Polar Bear might be hauling trains on Saturday night, we have been doing this for a few years now as those who stay in their caravans overnight don't have much to do A 6 inch scale Showmans engine is usually in use on Saturday night as well, and the restaurant will be open from 6pm until 9pm serving hot food and drinks.
I STRONGLY recommend you bring your own lunch, as the restaurant gets very busy and you have to queue for a very long time.
For those exhibiting, we will have tea and coffee 'on tap' so to speak as well as boiling water for our engines. We also have a microwave you can use to heat up food for lunch etc.
Anything else prospective exhibitors want to know please contact me via PM.
