Good Friday and today I had a good steaming of the SE4.
The engine was coupled to both all brass wheeled workshops. The engine put in a good 20 minute run. This is the first time the engine has been run since I took it apart and gave the engine a thorough cleaning and degreasing. It performed without trouble, although I still have to attend to a leak in the boiler dome. Overall, all things considered the engine's run was a success. It was nice to see all the brass tools running together. I took a number of videos of each part in turn; engine, tool and both. Those are uploading. Here are some stills I took whilst the engine was being prepared and while it was in steam.
Hope you enjoy these, and I do hope members have a good Easter and get to steam the odd engine too! Enjoy...
