A Garden Railwaying ForumHello,I don't want to detract from the forum's trade but I've set up a forum for Garden Railwaying, because I felt that I find e-groups (sutch as the 16mm association one hard to use. If you had asked SB I could have set up a specific Garden Railways topic section and promoted it from within Freesteam with each forum benefitting from the other.

Although I only have a loop of track and a couple of mamod locos I'm signing up.
There is some overlap with steam toys, but I think it is also good to set up a separate garden railway website. I wouldn't want to discuss laying track on a steam toy forum, or talk about electric locos for example. I don't see why it should distract from the steam toy forums, and each forum can promote the other to take advantage of having some common ground. |
