And to add a insult the seller says this
"Note: The author describes these engines as Live Steam Toys. Well, I do not agree. Toys can be played with by young children - can you imagine handing a steamed up Mamod to a child! Just a thought. Trevor." 
He might not agree but he is still selling them

They have Roly's permission to sell these, i emailed a couple of months back when they first appeared. Quite why anyone would want to pay this when you can buy cheaper direct from Roly i do not know? Perhaps because alot of people buy spares from model enthusiasts site they might see it & buy, not realising it's cheaper elsewhere. |
