Hi guys what size wick would I need for my Mamod single wick burner and where is best to purchase a good wick. Very Happy

The old wicks were asbestos type, these can found in old hardware shops, failing that a lot of the newer stuff is a more fibre glass type wick. Check Ebay...

Wick itself should be a few mm above the burner tube, too long and they produce a large uncontrollable flame.

If you are really stuck, a temporary wick can be fashioned from steel wool, just make sure it is completely out at the end of the run.

Thanks guys for all the feedback but I meant what diameter wick will I need or is it best to measure the inside of the pipe where the wick sits. Very Happy
