Another rant from me folks.
After a good half day at college sandblasting parts for my Wilesco roller ready for painting, I had to go to Bognor Regis for my annual eye test (I always do, just in case).
After a good chat with a mate and a little bit of shopping, I went to Specsavers.
Whilst on my way there, two eastern european blokes started fighting right in front of me! One of them pulled a knife so I instantly whipped my phone out and dialled 999. The police arrived sharpish so I gave a witness statement and contact details for obvious reasons, this made me late for my appointment but I am always happy to help the emergency services after the incident with my Mum the other week.
Then, I went looking for Specsavers. The map they gave was completely wrong! The street it was supposed to be in was only housing, so I went up the main street and there it was. I felt a bit of a pratt not being able to find it considering I have walked past it many times previously.
I was quickly booked in, but the guy doing the test wasn't very friendly to begin with. He was quite 'commanding' for want of a better word, but I have to thank him for lightening up by the end. Anyway, I now have to pick up some specs tomorrow for reading and looking at the PC. It is only after the test that I realised how often I screw up my eyes to focus in on an object and text.
On the train home from Bognor to Barnham, some pratt then decided to shout at the top of his voice declaring what a bad day he had by getting on the wrong portion of a dividing train and forever swearing. I told him in no uncertain terms to quieten down (something I don't normally do) as the other passengers were getting agitated and he then decided to pick a fight with me. He asked the other passengers if they had a problem with him, and they sall said they did so he promptly shut up! Public 1 Pratt 0.
Anyway I am now relaxing reading my copy of Rail Express, listening to some classical music (that always calms me down) with snow beating against the window. All I need now is some earl grey and some biscuits
Now, permission for a fry up for tea has been granted which will further make a bad day end on a high note.
Right, that is another rant over and done with. |

What a day Simon!
Hope you are feeling more relaxed now.
I seem to have spent today in a bad mood for no good reason, hoping to have a nice relaxing evening to calm down. |
