I have had a wee lathe in my garage for 20 years , given to me by my grandfather. I always had it down as a 70's piece of cheap tat, mainly due to the cheap looking blue hammerited finish!!

Imagine my astonishment to find out it is about 100 yrs old  assuming my research on http://www.lathes.co.uk/index.html is correct.
Its a 3.5" drummond i think,  made about 1905 !!
Just need to oil it up and learn how to use it!!

Thanks Mike, its actually the very 1st type of this model and dates to 1902...I am truly surprised.  My grandfather died last week aged 96 and i only thought about the lathe today for the 1st time in years......
