got this  engine  yesterday

its another  Luton Bowman PW201 for Restoration its a bit messy solder around steam outlet from boiler and exhaust pipe cut short.


out of the box



in bits for the restoration


looking better just need to do the base

Coming on well, the decal on mine is red... On my 202 its blue... and the 203 its cream. These are nice engines and well worth the effort in restoring, if particularly bad. Im a great fan of them, keep the pics coming!

they look very  nice Mike you are lucky you have the burners for yours  I have one more pw 201 same progress  



and now
pipe work done painted red just need to do the base cut it to size and paint it  Very Happy

They'll look very nice once done, esp with a proper decal. Keep yours eyes out for the 202 or 203, both worth the money and a great additional to any afficionado of English Toy Steam.

It will just finish them off nicely with the red decals  just need to get the base cut my friend its cutting the base for me I just wish that he would hurry up and cut it  q11
