Can I just make a quick post to reiterate the forum's policy on ebay.

Whilst we voted to get rid of ebay topic area in 2008 we still allow links to ebay if a particular engine or item warrants it and will stimulate good debate. There could be a number of reasons for posting a link but if anyone is unsure please PM me or Ted or Mike or Jim.

Ebay does not need our promotion of its services, they certainly dont promote us! This policy removes the one post threads which proliferate some forums and this one for a while, I accept its not popular with some members but we voted to remove it. Hopefully we will get an acceptable balance of what is allowed and what isn't.
