|
|
Just bought the remains of what I think may be a Bowman-Hobbies 'Swallow' at the Great Dorset Steam Fair for £15.
I have a hull with a 'newer' ply bottom and a good thickness of black paint, also a complete engine unit minus propellor, and a pretty rough boiler and some pipes. Nowt else.
The hull is 19 1/2 inches long by 3 1/2 wide. There is remains of cream paint on the inside of the hull, with some bits of red on the lower sections of the Outside.
Can anyone help with pictures of a complete 'Swallow'?, so I can see if it is what I think it is, and also to help me with the manufacturing of the missing parts.
Any help gratefully recieved, pics of what I have to follow....... |
