Yes, its sad but true, for a while I also collected teddy bears. Most are tucked away in bed . . . and out of sight, however two bears do share the middle room in the house. here we have big ted (no name) and his small chum Russel. They are a very close pair.... Russell being small and a timid bear ensure he has big ted to protect him form the nasties in the world. A frail bear too so I have kitted him out in woolen jumper and pants! (No I did not knit them!!). Choosing a bear is not an easy task and true collectors spend hours as well as hundred of pounds getting the right bear. I bought big ted in 1988 after art directing a photoshoot for the company who make them. He was given to me half price - then £80. He is a large proud bear and can be seen next to the Arrow and my favourite mandolin...
I have about 15 bears in total.
There I feel totally absolved now. _________________

Ah - so you're 'coming out' eh Mike?
As I write, Bobby sitting in his chair with Reg (engineman bear) on his lap...
These two (Smiley and Grumpy) are sitting on the back of the sofa...
You're not alone!
